On May 13th, the weekly tabloid magazine FLASH ran an article about GACKT, and his staff (hereon referred to as “we”) would like to touch on the report.

The publication accused GACKT of assaulting a woman, which is absolutely not true. We are making arrangements to sue…

I don’t think I’ve ever been this pissed off about the tabloids on Gackt as I have been with this one. Seriously, fuck you media.

Almost 20 years in the entertainment business and not once has he ever slipped up or made even a minor offense. Sure, Gackt’s had a troubled past as a teenager and in many ways he still retains that childish anger and recklessness, and no he isn’t perfect but I’ll be damned if he ever did something as horrible as this.

The tabloids try everything in their power to bring him down because they know how untouchable he is, and conveniently when he starts up his activities again. They throw around all kinds of shit - involved in the yakuza, swindling fans, sleeping with fans, illegitimate child overseas, stealing from his charity fund, etc. etc. etc. God it’s like these people have no idea what kind of person Gackt is.

Gackt doesn’t take this shit lightly - anyone remember when his friend and former dancer SIVA was arrested with drug possession? He apologized for SIVA’s actions to the fans because Gackt knows how serious of an issue it was, and the rest of the staff apologized to him because they know how Gackt feels about the subject and how they’re also affected and expected to behave.

This is the man who, during his Malice Mizer days, wouldn’t break character or come down from where he was being held above the stadium until every single fan was out of the arena.
This is the man who pushes himself to the absolute limits of what a human body can handle and collapses after every show, just to give his fans his everything - both physically and mentally.
This is the man that sleeps 2 to 3 hours a day while he works and works and continues to kill himself while thinking of new projects and opportunities to make his fans happy.
This is the man who reached desperately for any and all help he could get around the country to raise money and send supplies to the people in the areas affected by the tsunami and earthquakes on March 11th, 2011, and who helped load the supplies onto trucks himself and wanted to physically help people and still felt so useless the entire time.

Gackt continues to give and give and give and give and when shit like this happens to him my heart physically breaks for him, because someone as incredible as him doesn’t deserve to deal with this bullshit on top of his stress and focus on the current tour.

I hope these guys get sued for all their worth, because you messed with the wrong celebrity motherfuckers.
